Refund policy
Last updated: July 23, 2026
This policy covers two different things. Your subscription and usage fees are billed by Yomup and are our own revenue. Guest booking payments and deposits are paid to you, the operator, directly into your own connected payment account — Yomup is the software, not the merchant, for those payments. Refunds under one do not affect the other.
1. Your subscription and fees — billed by Yomup
- Cancelling your plan: cancel any paid plan yourself, anytime, from your dashboard — no cancellation fees. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you keep access until then.
- Monthly plans: no refunds for a billing month that has already started.
- Annual plans: full refund within 14 days of your first purchase; none after. Renewals are not refundable, and we send a reminder before each renewal charge.
- Usage plan (5% of deposits): this fee accrues only on deposits you actually keep. A deposit you refund in full accrues no fee. A deposit forfeited under your own no-show or cancellation policy does accrue the fee — that deposit is your revenue.
2. Guest bookings and deposits — paid to you, the operator
- Cancellation and refund terms: each operator sets their own cancellation and refund policy, shown on their booking page before the guest pays.
- Refund requests: go to the operator. Yomup is not the merchant for guest payments, but provides booking records to the operator on request.
- Guest self-service cancellation: guests can cancel through the self-service flow wherever the operator's policy allows it.
- Disputes and chargebacks: handled by the operator through their own connected payment account. Yomup provides booking records as evidence on request.
